Locksley house and garden

Set in an acre of beautiful gardens LOCKSLEY hosts three bedrooms available to guests - one twin bedded room, one double room and one family room. All rooms are en-suite .

The house is located in the delightful village of StocksfieldPrudhoe Castle - Northumberland (An English Heritage site) and is conveniently located for visits to the attractions of Northumberland and Durham an area that boasts historic monuments and castles in abundance. Of course no visit to the area can go without a visit to the Roman Wall with its many Forts and fabulous scenery that languishes along this engineering marvel.

The gardens are open to all our guests and offer
Garden angel a tranquil end to your day. With three ponds, one of which is stocked with a wide range of fish some of which will respond to hand feeding when hungry.

In one corner of the garden lies a patio retreat area where, afternoon tea may be enjoyed. Or if you feel up to it there are many short walks around the village, many of which pass the local inn where real ales are the order of the day. The views up the Tyne Valley at this point can be quite spectacular, particularly as the sun sets.
